Lightsaber notes

the_force_abidesVideo of a tactical lightsaber which has a lot of elements similar to Quin's Clone Wars lightsaber. I like the split vents on the blade emitter.
A very tactical looking laser that could easily be trumped up to be a lightsaber.
Base hilts from canon: Adjudicator or Firebrand.
Maybe it's something like a dual-phase saber but he can adjust the width of the blade instead of the length? Since he will be more likely to face blasters than another lightsaber, a wider blade would make sense. Something like the how the Cinquedea blade is shaped, but not quite as wide.
And how about a longer "pommel" that is actually composed of cortosis? Could be a nice advantage when suddenly faced with a lightsaber.
The look can also be based on his own design, but perhaps a matt black finish rather than the shiny chrome.
